Marina specializes in national and EU competition law, intellectual property law, data protection, telecoms & energy law and administrative law. She has offered legal services in a permanent basis at the Legal Service of the Hellenic Competition Commission being, among others, responsible for litigating before the Athens Administrative Court of Appeal and the Council of State, in order to uphold the decisions of the Hellenic Competition Commission. She also served as Director of the Directorate of Legal Services, Hellenic Competition Commission, having extended responsibilities, including the representation of the Competition Commission before European and international institutions, collecting and evaluating data and evidence, drafting and evaluating reports on antitrust and merger cases, inspections of undertakings and participation at meetings at the European Council , the European Commission (Directorate General for Competition), the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the International Competition Network (ICN).
Over the past two decades she has presented rich scientific activity, inter alia, participating in scientific meetings and events, writing and publishing articles and studies, lecturing at training seminars for managers and lawyers on Greek and EU competition law issues.
Marina began her professional career with an internship (stage) in the European Commission in Brussels. She has been scientific collaborator at the Greek Center of European Studies and Research (EKEM) and has worked in law firms specializing in business law and competition law. She currently holds the position of Regulatory Affairs Director at WIND Hellas SA, being responsible for the compliance with the telecoms regulatory framework and the interface with the competent independent authorities (Hellenic Telecommunications & Post Commission, Data Protection Authority and ADAE).
